Project Vidya Jyoti 2025
The light of learning (Vidya Jyoti) is the heart of our mission. In this project connected with students in rural India to launch the “Big Sis” program. The “Big Sis” intiative is to connect students in rural communities with a peer mentor that will help guide them and foster their growth in their careers. With the help of generous donors, we were able to offer two scholarships for stellar students in these schools!
Community Engagement 2025
During our outreach project this year, our student volunteers engaged with local students in a classroom setting to better understand their educational needs. Through conversations and observations, they found that rural farming populations experience a high incidence of blood-borne infections due to untreated minor wounds. In response, the team designed and distributed 150 wound care kits and led interactive educational sessions on proper wound care and infection prevention—empowering students with both resources and life-saving knowledge.
Spar for School 2021
Spars for School was a community project ran to inform and educate the education disparities children face across the world. With the help of Ekal Foundation and generous local donors, we were able to raise funds to sponsor a full year of education for 60 rural children.
